FAQ
1. Do you have parking?
A: Yes! We have several parking spots in the parking lot on the side of our building and street parking is often easy to come by on Main Street.
2. What is the return policy?
A: All sales at Consign and Design are final sale. Please examine items carefully before purchasing. Staff are always happy to plug in electronic items when possible, to ensure working condition before purchase is finalized.
3. What items is Consign and Design looking for as consignment?
A: We generally like to consign excellent condition furniture items such as sofas, dressers, end tables, book cases, rugs, and coffee tables. Don’t hesitate to ask us about items that are not on this list. It’s worth a shot! Please note we accept up to 10 pieces per consignment contract.
4. What items does Consign and Design NOT consign?
A: We do not consign artwork, smalls, china, glassware, clothing, dolls, or other collectibles.
5. Does Consign and Design buy outright?
A: We do not regularly offer this service, but if consignment isn’t for you and you have a question about an item you are trying to sell, please feel free to email us with pictures and details.
6. Is an appointment needed for Consignment?
A: Yes. Please email us with pictures of items you are hoping to consign and if we are able to consign with you we will set up an appointment for you to bring the items to the shop during business hours. We do not do walk-ins for consignment.
7. Do you do layaway or holds on items?
A: We do not offer layaway or holds on items in the shop due to the nature of our business.
8. If I buy something heavy or oversized, can I pick it up at a later date?
A: Yes! If you have purchased an item that is too large or too heavy to take home on the same day of purchase, we will happily hold the item in the store for 2-3 business days while you arrange moving and transportation. You must provide us with a valid phone number and a date for pick up. Please note, our staff does not assist with moving items to your vehicle.
